Meetings
(Español enseguida). Meetings is made of four book-like, text/image interactive objects of play. Spatially present as hinge-objects, they are a metaphor for the AND (copulative conjunction) creating these street, photo-poetic, imaginations of the city. Each ‘book’ opens the game with a single word in English or Spanish broken into particular meanings. The viewer, by unfolding the pages reveals a painted merging of events made via camera-body movements in space.
The first prototypes of these pieces were exhibited at Tapir Gallery Berlin, at Everything Flows Group Show, curated by David Kantunas.

Meetings está compuesta de cuatro objetos interactivos que asemejan libros para jugar con texto e imagen. Espacialmente presentes como objectos-bisagra, éstos son una metáfora de la (conjunción copulativa) ‘Y’ que crea estas imaginaciones foto-poéticas de la ciudad. Cada ‘libro’ abre el juego con una sola palabra quebrada en significados particulares. El espectador, al desdoblar las páginas revela una pintura de la conjunción de eventos hecha por el movimiento de cuerpo y cámara en el espacio.
Los primeros prototipos de estas piezas fueron exhibidos en Tapir Gallery Berlin, en Everything Flows Group Show, curated por David Kantunas.
